For 30 years, Mary has dedicated herself to helping people through her profession in the field of psychology. She began Odyssey Counseling Services in 1990 and launched Resilience Integrative Services in 2011. In addition to her work with both companies, Mary has conducted child abuse investigations for the State of New Mexico, taught psychology and criminology classes at local colleges, served as the full-time employee assistance counselor for the United States Postal Service, been a milieu director for Sequoyah Adolescent Treatment Center, and has been the program director for the New Mexico Teen Parent Residential Program. One of Mary’s deepest passions is helping first responders and their families. To that end, Mary started the nonprofit Behind the Badge New Mexico and Allies for First Responders Specialized Training Institute, where people in mental health, law enforcement, fire service, and emergency medical services (EMS) receive and deliver various trainings that promote education and resiliency in these respective fields. Mary is available to help patients starting as young as age 10.
